Cross-roller Slewing Ring

Crossed-roller slewing bearings utilize a row of rollers arranged at 90° to each other as rolling elements. These rollers make line contact with the raceway, enabling simultaneous support of axial forces, radial forces, and overturning moments. A drawback is that only half of the rollers bear the load, resulting in actual load-carrying capacity falling short of theoretical design specifications.
